We all have that kikoi we love to carry to events such as Blankets and wine but do you know that you can comfortably walk in it into the office?? Well drop the ‘are you crazy??’ look if that’s what you got on your face right now because the truth is yes you can. You just need to be a little more creative and think out of the box.

First you have to be thoughtful when choosing the kikoi, for instance I picked this particular one because I loved it’s pattern, thought it looked unique and out of norm unlike the usual red and black pattern. I stayed with it for a while and when the idea of making a skirt out came into my mind I took the piece to my usual designer who also happens to be my sister. I advocated for the pattern to go horizontally other than vertically so that it would make me a little bit wider around the hips and I loved the outcome, which was a pencil skirt with a cut behind to avoid straining when making them strides. For the top it’s a thrift and the shoes are the same ones worn here and here. The bag is from here.

Make a difference the next day you walk into the office 😉 .
